Take a journey through the forest and remember what it is like to experience it as an early learner. This workshop is specifically for educators that teach students from Pre-Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Using the PLT k-8 Curriculum Guide and WILD Early Learners guide we will incorporate literature, art, and exploration as we discover strategies, tools and activities to support the sense of wonder that is natural in our young people. Please join us- bring your favorite book that you use in your classroom that get your students pondering about their natural surroundings. You will need to dress for the weather- we will be going outside to see what we can see. Other things that you need to bring: lunch, drink, appropriate outside walking shoes. Portland OR
